2007-07-29 [Iske]: those are aquarelle pastels... you add water too it...
and to work with oilpastel... use a rubbermat( an old mousepath) to put your hand on. it won't move and you don't smear it all around with your hand while you move to draw. or try to draw with your hand above the paper (not that i'm that good, but tricks like that make it all look so much better :) )
